About Me

David Matthews
At age 5, I was picked up for selling personal crayon artwork door to door in our impoverished neighborhood after dusk. When I was 6, my mom stopped me walking outside with a steak knife and batteries, en route to cut the power mains so I could use the wires to charge my batteries (one of many times she saved my life). I hitchhiked in an ambulance in Russia, snuck into an Irish yacht club and raced a regatta in the Irish sea, went for a dip in the "40 foot" in the Irish sea (brrr 51F), climbed Mt. Fuji, stayed with random Brazilians in Japan one of which was a "professional" woman, her boyfriend and friends were way cool. Started, experimented and defended a master's thesis in engineering in 3 weeks total so I could boost my summer internship pay. Camped in the Austrian mountains, partied with the development crew of grand theft auto in Vienna, slept like a Parisian street bum for a few days under the Eiffel tower, drove my `73 triumph TR6 yellow convertible 1,000+ miles w/o a clutch through Canada back to the USA speed shifting the entire way, even through immigration & passport control. I've been sued a couple times, I'm an entrepreneur. My close friends are amazing.
