The Tibetans Vote: There is magic in the air.

This Dalai Lama temple complex has such energy with all of these Tibetan monks present. There is magic in the air, and I may stand here all day .

Tibet Children's School. I played basketball with these kids, and then snapped a photo. Everyone is looking good!

Food for food

En route to Agara from Delhi, we passed a caravan of 20+ of these overloaded tractors. They contain the scraps from the mustard and wheat plants with fresh grass. A machine mixes the plants and then they sell it as feed, to make the "good milk."

On top of the world... Lord of the rings style.

This mountain is huge! The peak on the right is an 8 hour trek.

Higher than the highest gondola on Earth!

The Himalayas stretch farther then the eyes can see.

Air, light and mechanical chases

The house is 3 stories, with a nice rooftop terrace. There are two grates covering shaft ways that go to the ground level. Windows open in to the shaft providing air circulation and on the upper story some extra light.

Jet lag, nah... Just early to rise

After I woke to the songs of the ever populous Indian birds, I went about fixing some things around the house. Sinks have aerators (see photo), they can collect mineral deposits and chunks. Unscrewing from the faucet, cleaning and reinstalling can restore the water flow. Also, you can pop out the wire mesh (screens) and rub them together which will rid them of buildup. I did this at a friends place in Chicago, and he was as amazed as my host here. It's really easy, and you don't need to call a maintenance man. Before breakfast I cleaned 3 of them, and rewired a flaky bathroom light that had developed a strobe effect all it's own.

I must be well rested enough... Now where are the elephants??

Kelloggs, thank you for stating the obvious.

I can't imagine it tasting the same with with room temperature soy milk.

Goodmorning India!
